I purchased this piece of art from a gallery in Dubai in 1991. It is by an artist called William Benson who the gallery told me was referred to as the ‘Master of Monoprint’. He served his apprenticeship in Southern California with several printers before going on to develop his own style. The piece is on art paper and was hung in a floating frame – glass both sides but I have taken it out of the frame . It is a signed original.
